Memento Mori



Class of 1983 (theatre school) planning a reunion. So much, 'We can't invite Colin with Brendan there. Colin cheated on Brendan's sister, remember - they've not spoken since. And not Poppy with Chloe or Miranda. They shared a student house and only Poppy got her deposit back - they've not spoken since. And not Sarah with Gus. She was his last girlfriend before he came out so messily. I've never forgotten her sitting sobbing on that tree trunk in Snape - they haven't spoken since.'

I said, 'And we couldn't invite Seb, Blake, Clive, Michael or Kenneth whatever they might have done -  they died of HIV related illnesses.'


I haven't been officially chucked off the committee...

My Mate Jamie-Ray Hartshorne
